Meet Your Dentist, Dr. Javaid Chaudhry
Raised in Lynnwood, WA, Dr. Javaid Chaudhry is excited to continue giving back to his lovely home state and proud to be serving the families in Pierce County. His passion for dentistry comes from being able to help and work with people across all age ranges, from toddlers to grandparents.
Seeing a genuine smile after a dental visit that can lighten up someone's day is what makes dentistry truly special and amazing to him.
Dr. Chaudhry earned his B.S. in biology from the University of Washington. He then attended New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree before returning to Washington. While furthering his education, Dr. Chaudhry volunteered his time and expertise to a community health center in New York City's International District in efforts to serve the underprivileged population.
Upon graduation, Dr. Chaudhry decided it was time to move home. Before joining Buckley Dental Care, Dr. Chaudhry practiced dentistry with a few other offices in locations as far north as Burlington, Seattle, Tacoma and Bonney Lake.
In dedication to enhancing his skill and demonstrating his commitment to excellence, Dr. Chaudhry continues to attend many continuing education courses to stay at the forefront of dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Chaudhry enjoys exploring the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer and maintaining his health by lifting weights and playing basketball.
Meet Shelly, Our Hygienist
Grateful to have grown up in Enumclaw, Shelly has always had an appreciation for the beautiful plateau area. She lives in South Prairie with her husband, three kids, and two pugs. When she and her family aren’t busy with her kids’ sports they enjoy traveling, camping, golf, and skiing.
Since graduating from the dental hygiene program at Pierce College in 2004, she worked in Enumclaw for eleven years and as a temp in dental offices all over the Puget Sound before landing at Buckley Dental Care in August of 2016.
Working as a dental hygienist for the past 20 years has taught her how much she truly enjoys working with patients and meeting new people.
Meet Danica, Our Hygienist
Danica has been working in dentistry since 2009. She started as a Dental Assistant then attended Seattle Central for Dental Hygiene, graduating in 2013. Finding her dental home at Buckley Dental Care in November of 2017.
She has always lived in Washington state. Currently her and her husband are raising their two boys in Bonney Lake near Lake Tapps. They enjoy traveling as much as possible, typically to escape the colder weather in winter and camping often in the summer months. Fun fact, her favorite color is Purple which is also her Maiden name!
Meet Sissy, Our Hygienist
Sissy grew up in Carbonado and now lives there with her husband and 3 kids. As a family they love to go camping, hiking, paddle boarding, anything that involves the outdoors.
Sissy grew up going to Buckley Dental Care as a child and knew from a young age she wanted to work in the dental field.
She started her career in Dentistry in 2006 as a dental assistant. After working for 6 years in the Bonney Lake area she then decided to continue her education. She graduated Dental Hygiene school from Seattle Central in 2014.
Sissy knew she had found her home office when she started at Buckley Dental in November of 2018.
